  3. Feature: Bridal Blueprints & ZellerZazzles

    February 21, 2011 by admin

Since moving to Nashville we have had the opportunity to meet some fantastic wedding vendors. Recently, Meredith Zeller of Bridal Blueprints (and etsy’s ZellerZazzles) contacted me to design some signs for a couple of showers and weddings that she was planning. Of course we said yes!! She also partnered with Ulmer Studios to take the photographs below. For more photos visit Meredith’s blog…here’s her write up about the event:

This shower was inspired by one of my brides who is on a tight budget for her wedding. We have been getting creative in every way possible, especially when it comes to the budget. Rather than just registering for the typical china, towels and mixer, I thought it would be a good idea to set up a registry with the bride’s photographer so that guests could contribute gift cards towards the photographer’s fee. Running with the photography idea, I designed her shower around a black and white photography theme.

To contact Meredith about event planning or any of her etsy products view her info in the interview below. To contact us about signs for your reception, shower, or ceremony visit our listing and send us a convo!

And  now, a little more about Meredith’s Etsy shop.

How long have you been in the wedding business: I’ve been in the wedding business since 2006 as a planner. I also have a wedding/event planning business called ‘Bridal Blueprints’. It was just this past year that I decided to try to make a living out of my craftiness.

Describe your style: A little bit of everything. Having been a wedding planner for so long I’ve had the opportunity to design weddings of a variety of styles. I’ve basically adopted a little bit of vintage, traditional, shabby chic, rustic…I’m a mixing bowl of styles!

What is something that few people know about you? I was on a reallllly cheesy acting reality show a few years ago – before I realized I can’t act and I’m a much better host. I freelance doing some TV hosting.

Do you have any advice to offer engaged couples or those planning a special event? Hire a planner – I know that’s a fairly obvious answer, coming from an event planner. However, an event planner typically pays for themselves with the vendor negotiations they are able to work out. A planner will save you time, money and a LOT of stress!

  4. Custom Designs – Wedding Save the Dates and Invitations

    January 10, 2011 by admin

Weddings are not one size fits all. It’s YOUR wedding after all, and sometimes it can be difficult to find a stationery design that fits both of your personalities. We love working with couples to come up with something truly creative for their special day. Below are a couple of recent designs we’ve put together.

Kate and Dave are a fabulously fun couple from the north east. They wanted to incorporate their colors (pink and orange), a squirrel wearing a veil, and a monocle/top hat wearing platypus. The final result is this bright, whimsical postcard design.

Alisa and Michael have spent the majority of their relationship a world apart. We used both the text and imagery to incorporate their long distance relationship into their wedding stationery.

If you’re interested in getting more information about having a custom design put together for your wedding stationery visit our contact page and send us a message. We’d love to hear from you!

  8. aqua and gold – ewt inspiration board

    November 6, 2010 by admin

I can’t stop swooning over this warm yellow color. It’s not quite as bright as your basic yellow, but I think it’s a lovely alternative to metallic gold…or even ivory. I’ve paired it up with an aqua color, and some cool grays in these three new invitations from our etsy store. The rest of the items have been created by members of the Etsy Wedding Team. To find additional matching items search “etsyweddingteam” on Etsy!

  9. subway sweethearts – louisa and adam

    by admin

Louisa and Adam really like subway maps (and who could blame them?). In fact, they own a collection of them that Louisa gave Adam for Christmas last year. Inspired by the graphic elements commonly used in subway maps, they asked us to design for them a truly unique and personal wedding invitation.

  10. intimate weddings – invitations for smaller events

    August 12, 2010 by admin

Over the last couple of years we’ve seen small weddings become a growing trend. Especially smaller ceremonies with larger receptions. For those couples looking for a way to invite people to different events we’ve designed invitation sets with multiple pieces to mix and match for each specific guest.

This invite set includes a larger invite for the reception, a standard size rsvp, and two smaller invitations for guests who are invited to the more intimate ceremony and dinner.

This is also a great way to invite people to a rehearsal dinner, give them information about hotel/area information, or let them know where you’ve registered at. For more information about pricing, designs, and sizes contact us!
